The process is very simple, and in three simple steps:
1) Go to Xilinx Product Licensing Suite to obtain license for Free or Evaluation Version. Register on website and follow steps given. You will get free license on registered email id.
2) After downloading license file Xilinx.lic, Copy the file to ".Xilinx" folder (Hidden in your linux Ubuntu, press Ctrl h).
Done. Now there is no Xilinx License Error 'License was not found was the 'ISE' feature'
